The home can be seen from Heavenly.

South Lake Tahoe is located on the south shore of Lake Tahoe, situated on the border of California and Nevada; the most popular mountain and lake travel destination in the United States.

Other attractions in the area include Emerald Bay, the Pacific Rim Trail (excellent for family day hikes), Heavenly, Kirkwood, Alpine Meadows, Sierra@Tahoe, SugerBowl, NorthStar@Tahoe and Squaw ski resorts, and Stateline casinos including Harrahs and Harvey's. The state of Nevada and its attractions are just a drive away, as is Reno.

The Napa and Sonoma wine country, and San Francisco are between three to five hours drive away.
